The City of Tolleson remains committed to caring for the health and well-being of our residents, customers, community and staff while playing a constructive role in supporting local health officials and government leaders. State and federal public health officials advise that a phased approach to re-opening be used to protect our entire community.
The service delivery plan consists of additional safety measures of social distancing markers throughout city facilities. Staff members will wear face masks to protect residents, customers and staff. Although the Stay at Home Order will be lifted, COVID-19 spread continues. Our goal is to implement all measures possible to continue to take precautions.
Therefore, the City of Tolleson will implement a phased plan to resume service delivery. Based on the current May 15th end date of Governor Doug Ducey’s Stay at Home Order, the City’s phased approach will begin Monday, May 18th. Each phase is subject to expansion depending on public health developments related to COVID-19.
We appreciate everyone’s patience as we are all adjusting to the uncertainty of the current circumstances. Please continue to follow the recommended CDC best practices of preventing the spread of COVID-19.
